Blurb:

The bonds of family are stretched to the breaking point as legendary monsters, a deadly prophecy, and soul swallowing fears threaten to destroy them. Magic, secrets, sensuality and mind numbing terror all rolled into one to keep the pages flying.

Review:

This was a fun and fast read where the blurb really doesn't do the book justice. The sisters in this book seemed as if they mostly raised themselves. Their mother is disinterested in being a parent, so Quinn steps up to the plate to give Ashling the graduation present she deserves. The destination of their trip turns into an insane mess of magic, mystery and terror as both Ashling and her mother both disappear while in completely different locations. Unfortunately, Quinn can only save one.

This book was entrancing and full of action and fear. It's really a perfect start to a series, as it left me with so many unanswered questions that I long to find out in the following books. The underwater world created in this book was intriguing, and really was wishing for more book by the time I reached the end!
