Tour - Kissing the Maid of Honor

A bit about Kissing the Maid of Honor:

Kissing her best friend's brother never felt so right...
Sela Sullivan is resolved to be the best maid of honor ever, even if it means tolerating the best man. Insufferable, too-handsome Luke Watters is not only the guy who humiliated her at a kissing booth in high school, but he also happens to be her best friend’s older brother. Positive he’s the same arrogant jock, Sela vows to focus on her duties and steer clear of the frustrating—and frustratingly tempting—Luke.
As a world-renowned extreme-sports photographer, Luke is used to undertaking life-risking adventures. But risking his heart for the beautiful Sela Sullivan, who clearly still hates him for his rejection all those years ago? He didn’t see that coming. Sela inspires a passion he’s never known, and the more time they spend together, the more he craves her. But can he prove to the maid of honor he’s become a man of honor?

A bit about Robin:

Robin Bielman lives in Southern California with her high school sweetheart husband, two sons, and crazy-cute mini Labradoodle, Harry Dresden. When not attached to her laptop, she can almost always be found with her nose in a book. She also loves to run, hike, and dip her toes in the ocean. Writing is a dream come true, and she still pinches herself to be sure it’s real.
She is also the author of Worth the Risk and Yours At Midnight from Entangled’s Ever After line. She loves to connect with readers.

My Review:
So for the past few days I've been on an overload with books from Entangled Publishing. I have not read a single one that I didn't at least like, and overall I loved the majority of them. This one was no exception. By far, my favourite one that I've read recently. It was actually so good, that I had to second guess my other reviews, because I wanted to give it six stars. I'm embarassed to admit this, but I squealed a bit when I got this book in my email. The blurb sounded amazing to me, and I was really afraid I wouldn't make it before the cut off for an ARC.

Okay. Sela is just adorable. She was super easy to relate to. Completely crushing on the same person for most of her life, who just happened to be her best friend's brother. Luke was equally cute, but wasn't the nicest kid. When they kissed at the kissing booth in high school, he told everyone she kissed like a corpse. This crushed Sela's self confidence.

This story was just so fun. Like, a girl-next-door meets Wedding Crashers. I think the part of this book that really got to me was the fact that not only did Luke and Sela make a good couple, but they helped the other become a better person. They complimented each other so well, and were able to work together to make the other a stronger and better person.

Definitely a must read!!

Sela grinned and moved up to place her order. A few minutes later she had a cup of coffee—with cream and enough sugar to make her dentist cringe—and a spiced-apple oatmeal muffin. Her first bite into the breakfast treat garnered a, “Mmm.”

She almost echoed that sentiment when Luke sat down across from her. Without invitation, his presence thrilled her. He wore a long-sleeved blue waffle shirt that stretched nicely to accommodate his broad shoulders and chest. His face was clean-shaven, revealing a handsomeness that was seriously unkind to the rest of the male population and made it difficult for her to breathe normally.

“Something wrong?” he said.

Yes. You are too good-looking. “No. What are you doing here?”

He lifted his coffee. “Needed my morning caffeine.” He reached over and broke off a piece of her muffin.

“I meant what are you doing at my table. Don’t you have anything better to do this morning than bug me?”

“Sela. Is that any way to talk to me after last night?”

“Shh.” She cast a quick glance around the bakery. Mrs. Witt was pretending to read the newspaper at the table next to them. The mayor and his wife both waggled their fingers at her. “Don’t you remember how this town loves to know everything about everyone? And you, Mr. Hotshot Photographer, are at the top of the list right now. Once your story hits the newspaper, you can kiss your temporary freedom good-bye.”

Luke slanted his chin down, but his eyes stayed right on hers. He smirked. “Attention can be a good thing.”

“It can also be very bad.” She slouched down in her chair, hoping no one had been listening too closely.
Something flashed across his face. Amusement? Interest? Desire? Her body went on high alert. This mutual whatever it was could not be investigated further in the middle of Crems!

“I don’t know. Sometimes being bad can also be very good,” he said, sounding all sorts of tempting and dangerous.
