My Review:

Rating: 4/5 Stars

Although this book had a little slower start than I had originally expected, I feel that the author did a great time utilizing that start. I loved the addition of the mythology into this story! I loved the added suspense of the idea that not only is Beau a forbidden romance, but a romance with any man is forbidden. I find the curse of the Nymph intriguing, and I couldn’t help but want to know more and more about the history of the island – much like Beau.

Beau is an interesting hero. He’s got his obvious flaws, but he has a loving heart, even if he’s not always able to show it. I enjoyed his interactions with his son, who acted just like any other teenager would. Kaden is a sweet boy, deep, deep down. On the surface, he may be a brooding and troubled young man, but I couldn’t help but give him a small piece of my heart. His own little romance with Trina was so endearing, and I couldn’t help but feel this book was more of a double romance. Not only did I want to root for Beau and Ariadne, but I couldn’t help but root for Trina and Kaden as well.

This book is a great start to the series, and I can’t wait to continue to the next book. Pick it up!

My Review:

I’ve decided that I love Nymphs and their stories. This book was even better than the first one! I was completely entrapped in Aura and Dane’s story. I literally could not put this book down. I was up until the sun was almost up because I had to know the conclusion of this thrilling and sexy mystery.

This book puts together different aspects that I love in books. I adore police mysteries and I love paranormal romance. So what’s better than a Paranormal police mystery with romantic intentions?! Nothing, that’s what! Aura and Dane are a great couple that work together very well in a stressful situation. Together, they are able to unwind the mystery behind the death of many nymphs.

I absolutely loved the tie in with the first novel near the end of the book. I feel that was a justifiable (although sad) ending to a character that I wasn’t very pleased with from the first novel. I can’t wait to read another installment of this series to see if more Nymphs will be able to bypass their curse and find the true love that they desire.

Just like the first book, I definitely recommend this one. Do you like both contemporary and paranormal romance? Yeah, these books are for you!!
